Job Title: Early Childhood Teacher

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Childhood Teacher to join our team at the Greater East Texas Community Action Program (GETCAP). As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in providing a safe, healthy, and engaging learning environment for preschool-aged children.

Responsibilities:
  • Curriculum Implementation: Develop and implement a valid and reliable curriculum that meets the needs of our young learners.
  • Classroom Management: Create a safe and organized classroom environment that promotes social, emotional, and cognitive development.
  • Child Development: Provide opportunities for children to explore, learn, and grow through play-based activities and experiences.
  • Communication: Foster effective communication with children, parents, and colleagues to ensure a collaborative and supportive learning environment.
  • Teamwork: Work collaboratively with other staff members to achieve program goals and objectives.
Qualifications and Requirements:
  • A.A. or B.A. degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field.
  • Positive, motivating, and energetic personality.
  • Professionalism and flexibility in a dynamic environment.
  • Ability to observe and manage multiple activities and children simultaneously.
