Automation Systems Engineer Opportunity

Job Overview:


This organization stands at the forefront of delivering control and power solutions across a diverse range of sectors, including mining, milling, oil and gas, energy production, utilities, and maritime.

They are in search of a mid-level Automation Systems Engineer who is proficient in specifying, designing, developing, programming, and commissioning comprehensive solutions that integrate PLC, drive, and HMI/SCADA systems.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong capability to enhance application comprehension and execute advanced programming for intricate control systems.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Specify, design, develop, program, and commission integrated solutions utilizing PLC, drive, and HMI/SCADA systems.
  • Investigate methodologies for the development, enhancement, and management of control systems.
  • Provide support for occasional on-call requests from aftermarket engineering field service and clients.
  • Define and formulate control system specifications.
  • Develop, integrate, and test all associated hardware and software for these solutions.

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
  • 5+ years of experience in controls engineering.
  • Proficient in PLC control systems, including Allen Bradley Studio5000 and Siemens TIA Portal.
  • Experience in project management with control system-based products.
