Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Medical Assistant - Certified to join our team at Samaritan Healthcare. As a Medical Assistant - Certified, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist providers with patient care procedures, including injections, EKGs, and blood draws.
  • Conduct and administer various tests, such as pregnancy tests, occult blood tests, and glucose monitoring.
  • Prepare patients for exams, collect patient history, and perform screenings as per provider guidelines.
  • Maintain accurate patient records, notify patients of test results, and call in prescription refills as requested by providers.
  • Perform clerical duties, such as scheduling appointments, managing patient flow, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
Requirements
  • Active license in the State of Washington as a Medical Assistant - Certified.
  • Current (Healthcare Provider [HCP] level) CPR certification.
  • Experience working in a clinic setting providing support to providers in medical specialties preferred.
