Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled GIS Technician to join our team at Apex Systems. As a GIS Technician, you will be responsible for converting as-built data into GIS, providing training and QA for GIS mapping contractors, and creating maps, drawings, and reports for internal and external customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage routine GIS tasks, including data management and map creation, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Create maps and other visual representations using GIS tools.
  • Ensure timely updates to GIS databases.
  • Collaborate with GIS Analysts on complex projects.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve data inconsistencies.
  • Provide input on GIS tool enhancements.

Requirements:

  • 1+ years of experience in a related field.
  • Diploma or certificate in Geographical Information Systems or related curriculum.
