We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team in a skilled care center setting. As an LPN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the overall success of our organization.
Key Responsibilities- Admissions and Discharges: Admit, transfer, and discharge residents in accordance with Agency standards and physician orders.
- Accurate Charting: Maintain accurate and comprehensive resident information; chart progress notes on all residents in a descriptive manner.
- Emergency Response: Provide emergency response/care to residents in the skilled care center and within the retirement community.
- Medication Administration: Prepare and administer medications and treatments as ordered by the physician using current, accepted standards of nursing practice and quality assurance.
- Skilled Services: Administer skilled services; assist with physician visits, physical examinations, and chart reviews; provide direct nursing care as needed.
- Education and Training: Must possess a current unencumbered LPN license in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
- Skills and Experience: Proficient interpersonal relations and communicative skills; proficient decision-making skills; proficient assessment skill; thorough knowledge of current Department of Health regulations; current CPR certification; demonstrated supervisory skills.
- Experience: No LPN experience needed. New Graduates welcome.
