About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Surgical Technologist to join our team at Atrium Health Charlotte. As a Surgical Technologist, you will play a vital role in ensuring the success of our operating rooms by providing quality care to patients and maintaining optimal conditions for sterile procedures and operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist surgeons and other medical professionals during surgical procedures
  • Prepare and maintain surgical equipment and instruments
  • Ensure aseptic technique and maintain a clean and safe operating environment
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to provide patient-centered care
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest surgical techniques and technologies
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school of surgical technology or successful completion of a military training program for Surgical Technology or Operating Room Specialist
  • Current certification as a Surgical Technologist (CST) or Certified Surgical Assistant (CSA)
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks efficiently
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
