Job Title: Traveling Surgical Technologist

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Traveling Surgical Technologist to join our team at Novant Health Presbyterian Medical Center.

Job Summary:

The Traveling Surgical Technologist will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and assisting surgeons during surgical procedures. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in surgical technology, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist surgeons during surgical procedures, maintaining a safe and sterile environment.
  • Prepare and maintain surgical instruments and equipment.
  • Monitor and maintain patient safety and well-being during procedures.
  • Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure smooth and efficient surgical procedures.
  • Document patient information and surgical procedures accurately and efficiently.
Requirements:
  • BCLS certification.
  • Strong background in surgical technology, with experience in neuro/spine surgery and Davinci robotics.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Work Schedule:

The Traveling Surgical Technologist will work a variety of shifts, including 8-hour mid-shifts and 13-week blocks. The schedule will be determined by the needs of the hospital and the surgical team.
