Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team at North Westchester Restorative Therapy and Nursing. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement individualized occupational therapy plans to meet the unique needs of each resident.
  • Conduct thorough assessments to identify areas of strength and weakness, and develop targeted interventions to improve functional abilities.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and support for residents.
  • Provide education and training to residents, families, and caregivers on occupational therapy techniques and strategies.
  • Document resident progress and outcomes in a timely and accurate manner.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Successful completion of National Certification Examination for OTR.
Work Environment:

This is a part-time position in a skilled nursing facility setting. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Compensation:

This position offers a competitive hourly rate of $50.00 per hour.
