We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Scheduling/Staffing Coordinator to join our team at The Bristal Assisted Living. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for coordinating and planning staff schedules, ensuring that our residents receive the highest level of care and attention.
Key Responsibilities:- Coordinate and plan staff schedules, taking into account staff needs and availability.
- Coordinate all staffing requirements and scheduling of Resident Care Aides-HHA, Medication Aides, and LPN Supervisors working within the community.
- Patiently deal with last-minute changes in scheduling and ensure that staff are aware of any changes.
- Deal with staff call-outs appropriately by following proper protocol and ensuring that coverage is maintained.
- Assist with recruitment needs by advising the Business Office Manager of open positions.
- Perform other reasonable duties as assigned by the Resident Services Director and Executive Director.
- Excellent computer skills, including MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Background and experience in staffing and scheduling required.
- Knowledge of medical terminology a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required.
- Candidates should be highly organized, professional, and motivated.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize.
- Able to work well independently and as part of a team.
- Must meet the requirements of the Department of Health.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Previous experience in Skilled Nursing, Assisted Living, or Community-based Healthcare Environment a big plus.
