Key Responsibilities
  • Manufacturing Operations: Oversee the production process, ensuring that equipment settings and operations are maintained according to company standards.
  • Quality Control: Monitor and control process standards for mixing, fermentation, dividing, molding, proofing, baking, slicing, packaging, and coding to ensure high-quality products.
  • Supply Chain Management: Ensure adequate material supply to meet production requirements, minimizing downtime and optimizing production efficiency.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Complete required documents and reports accurately and on time, maintaining accurate records of production, quality, and safety metrics.
  • Training and Development: Conduct training for hourly employees on job functions, Good Manufacturing Practices, Safety, and company policies, promoting a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Maintain open communication with department heads, addressing employee, equipment, process control, quality, safety, or sanitation issues promptly and effectively.
  • Employee Relations: Provide counsel and discipline employees as needed, maintaining a safe, sanitary, and productive workplace.
  • Problem-Solving: Address and resolve employee grievances at the initial level, promoting a positive and respectful work environment.
  • Adaptability and Flexibility: Assist other departments as needed, demonstrating a willingness to adapt to changing circumstances and priorities.
Requirements
  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Skills: Proficient in MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word), strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Experience: 3 years of manufacturing experience, 1 year of supervisory experience, with a strong understanding of manufacturing operations, quality control, and team management.
