The Maintenance Supervisor provides leadership and supervision to the Maintenance production team engaged in the troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of production equipment. The goal is to ensure safety, quality, and maximum production efficiencies to meet and support the manufacturing facility's overall objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee, plan, and issue work orders to team members for equipment modifications, preventative, and corrective maintenance.
  • Coordinate repairs and maintenance activities with production and scheduling departments as necessary.
  • Remain active on the floor, providing hands-on troubleshooting and maintenance of production equipment.
  • Enforce plant rules, monitor attendance, and provide corrective action as necessary.
  • Conduct safety inspections, examine tools/equipment, and facilitate safety training to prevent, identify, and correct unsafe conditions or safety procedure violations.
  • Enforce and exemplify safety and compliance items such as Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO), Hot Work/Permits, and LSQ.
  • Prepare and submit purchase requisitions for materials and supplies, interface with vendors and suppliers as necessary, and maintain spare parts inventory.
  • Foster a positive working environment and drive the Maintenance team to meet productivity targets and performance standards.
  • Plan and coordinate equipment installation and removal.
  • Ensure Maintenance employees are properly trained in safety, quality, and production aspects, recommending and coordinating safety and technical training.
  • Act as backup to the Maintenance Manager when unavailable.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Associate's degree and/or technical school certification.
  • Certified Electrician.
  • At least one year of experience leading/supervising in a manufacturing operation.
  • 7-10 years of experience in the trades, preferred, with electrical, PLC, controls, mechanical, and/or HVAC experience.
  • Experience working with computerized maintenance management systems.
  • Strong organizational and planning skills.
  • Strong written/verbal communication skills and ability to be a team player.
  • Excellent analytical thinking and innovative problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
  • Microsoft Office proficiency.
  • Bilingual, English and Spanish preferred.
