Key Responsibilities:- Develop and maintain safety policies, procedures, and training programs to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
- Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
- Investigate and report on workplace incidents, near-misses, and accidents.
- Collaborate with management and employees to promote a positive safety culture and encourage employee participation in safety initiatives.
- Develop and implement emergency response plans and procedures.
- Monitor and maintain accurate records of safety training, incidents, and compliance with regulations.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as risk management, occupational safety and health, or safety engineering.
- At least three years of experience in a safety management role, preferably in a similar industry.
- Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and industry-specific safety standards.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience with fleet or transportation operations subject to DOT regulations.
- Knowledge of agricultural or propane/refined fuel safety practices.
- Certifications in OSHA Training Courses 501 or 511.
- Competitive salary range: $70,000 - $105,000.
