Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled MRI Technologist II to join our team at NorthShore University HealthSystem. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging team, you will be responsible for performing MRI exams to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of patient illnesses and injuries.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform MRI exams in accordance with departmental standards, policies, and procedures.
- Prepare patients for exams, obtaining and recording medical history, explaining procedures, and positioning patients for optimal comfort.
- Review MRI images to ensure high-quality results.
- Assist with patient/family participation in post-procedural care for all age groups and provide resource information as directed.
Requirements:
- ARRT-MR certification required.
- Certification or Associate's degree in Radiology from an accredited program.
- Previous MRI Technologist experience required.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills.
