**Job Summary**

The Salon Director in Training plays a crucial role in driving store performance, fostering superior client service, and maintaining operational excellence. This individual will manage and supervise Tanning Consultants to achieve company goals and lead by example in all company operations.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • **Monitor and Manage Daily Operations**: Oversee the daily operations of the salon, ensuring a fast-paced and efficient environment.
  • **Lead by Example**: Demonstrate exceptional client-centric service and meet personal sales expectations, setting a positive tone for the team.
  • **Maintain a Professional Environment**: Ensure the salon is impeccably clean and well-maintained, reflecting the company's high standards.
  • **Establish Clear Goals**: Set clear objectives for Team Members, providing guidance and support to ensure success.
  • **Provide Coaching and Feedback**: Offer regular coaching, training, and feedback to improve Team Members' daily performance.
  • **Generate Sales Reports**: Analyze sales data, maintain inventory, and assist with other Salon Director functions.
  • **Control Top-Line Revenue and Expenses**: Collaborate with the Salon Director to manage revenue and expenses, ensuring the salon's financial health.
  • **Maintain Proper Staffing**: Ensure optimal staffing levels to deliver exceptional customer service while controlling labor costs.
  • **Work Schedule**: Ability to work nights, weekends, and a 5-day workweek with approximately 35 to 45 hours per week.

**Requirements**

  • **Management and Sales Experience**: Proven track record in management and sales, with a strong understanding of the beauty industry.
  • **Beauty Industry and Customer Service Experience**: Previous experience in the beauty industry and customer service, with a focus on delivering exceptional client experiences.
  • **Basic Computer Skills**: Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • **Problem-Solving and Organizational Skills**: Ability to manage multiple situations simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and delegate effectively.
  • **Strong Leadership Skills**: Proven ability to coach, mentor, and lead teams to achieve company goals.
  • **Team Building Skills**: Experience in building and maintaining a positive team dynamic, fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence.

**Physical Requirements**

  • **Standing and Walking**: Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, with occasional bending and lifting.
  • **Lifting and Bending**: Ability to lift or assist in lifting items and heavy boxes, with occasional bending to clean tanning equipment.
