Executive Director for New England Affordable Housing Leader

The Caleb Group seeks a visionary Executive Director to lead its mission-driven organization in providing affordable housing solutions throughout New England. As a seasoned leader, you will be responsible for guiding the organization's strategic plan, strengthening partnerships, and implementing financial management strategies.
About You
We are looking for a charismatic leader with a minimum of 7 years of senior leadership experience, preferably in the housing and real estate development sector. Your expertise in industry and finance, combined with excellent communication skills, will enable you to build strong relationships with stakeholders, staff, and residents. A passion for creating positive change and a commitment to organizational growth are essential qualities for this role.
Key Responsibilities
• Navigate the transition from a family-led nonprofit to an externally led organization
• Strengthen partnerships with housing organizations, landowners, and government officials
• Collaborate with the Board of Directors to implement the strategic plan and refine impact measurements
• Evaluate the organization's financial health and communicate it to the Board
• Upgrade internal operations, systems, and technology to improve efficiency and customer service
• Champion human resource strategies to recruit and retain high-quality staff
About the Benefits
This is a full-time, salaried position with a competitive salary range of $190,000 to $220,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Our comprehensive benefits package includes health, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance, as well as a retirement plan and generous time off.
