Job Summary

As an ABA Behavior Technician at Accel Therapies, you will implement individualized ABA therapy programs for individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities. Under the supervision of Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) and Program Supervisors (PS), you will work directly with clients to provide one-on-one support and interventions targeting specific behavior goals.

Responsibilities
  • Direct Client Support: Provide one-on-one ABA therapy sessions to clients in various settings, following the behavior intervention plan developed by the BCBA and PS
  • Data Collection: Accurately record and maintain data on client progress, behavior observations, and other relevant information during therapy sessions
  • Behavior Intervention: Implement behavior modification techniques and strategies outlined in the individualized treatment plan to address challenging behaviors and promote skill development
  • Collaboration: Collaborate closely with team members to ensure coordinated delivery of services and progress monitoring
  • Professional Development: Attend ongoing training and meetings to stay current with best practices in ABA therapy
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) required
  • Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation required
  • Previous experience working as an ABA Therapist with individuals with Autism or developmental disabilities preferred
  • Previous childcare experience highly preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Positive and team-player attitude
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times
