About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Insurance Placement Specialist to join our team at Marsh McLennan Agency-Bouchard Region. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for analyzing clients' risks and determining the most comprehensive insurance coverage to mitigate those exposures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze clients' risks to determine the appropriate insurance coverage and negotiate with underwriters and brokers to achieve the best combination of cost and coverage.
  • Evaluate insurance coverage options and provide technical assistance to producers and account managers on policy forms, endorsements, rating plans, and risk retentions.
  • Review and evaluate losses, safety inspections, and recommendations offered by insurance carriers.
  • Confirm and bind policies as negotiated with insurance companies.
  • Strategize with agency personnel on marketing approaches for accounts and provide sales assistance at presentations and client meetings.
  • Maintain a log of quotes in process for reference by management, producers, account managers, and other agency personnel.
Requirements
  • Current Florida 2-20 License
  • College degree desirable or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Minimum of two years industry experience preferably with Large Business Insurance accounts
  • Excellent analytical and organizational skills with high attention to detail
  • Possess good skills of persuasion, negotiation, and sales ability
  • Responsive and self-motivated team player
