Job Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Personal Care Assistant to join our team at First Priority Home Care.

As a Personal Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing essential support to elderly and disabled adults and children in their homes.

**Key Responsibilities:**

* Assist with activities of daily living, including eating, bathing, dressing, and personal hygiene
* Provide meal planning and preparation, cleaning, laundry, and home safety
* Assist with ambulation, toileting, and maintaining continence
* Monitor the client's condition and report any changes to the supervisor
* Remind clients of medication times and hand over medication containers

**Requirements:**

* High School diploma or GED equivalent
* Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively with clients and supervisors
* Valid driver's license and reliable means of transportation
* At least 18 years of age
* Passed competency testing or completed a competency training and evaluation program
