Computercraft Corporation is seeking a highly skilled Technical Writer/Senior Communication Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our communications team, you will be responsible for developing written content for one of our clients within the National Institutes of Health (NIH).
Key Responsibilities:- Develop a range of communications pieces, including bulletins, reports, newsletters, presentations, brochures, and engagement stories.
- Compose correspondence for various audiences, including NIH and Congressional audiences, describing products, services, and outreach programs.
- Support training activities, including the development of training materials.
- Contribute to the development of literature reviews and manuscripts, including citation management.
- Draft social media content aimed at specific audiences.
- Write original content, ensuring clarity, completeness, accuracy, quality, and alignment with internal style.
- Support communications projects and products, as well as provide technical writing and editing support for NIH documents.
- Provide communications strategy, planning, and support.
- Bachelor's degree.
- High proficiency with English writing, including grammar and usage.
- 5 years or more in content strategy and technical writing.
- Some education in biology to understand the topics being documented.
- Ability to produce professional-looking, clean documents that are perfectly tuned to the target audience.
- Expertise with Microsoft Word and PowerPoint, including advanced formatting features.
- A strong technical aptitude with the ability to learn quickly.
- Effective verbal communication.
- Previous writing and/or content development experience at NIH.
