The University of North Texas System is seeking a qualified Adjunct Instructor to join our Department of Biological Sciences. As an Adjunct Faculty member, you will have the opportunity to teach a variety of courses in the life sciences, including medical terminology, environmental science, biology for science majors, and more.
Responsibilities- Teach lecture and/or laboratory courses in the life sciences
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans and assessments
- Provide guidance and support to students in the classroom and through office hours
- Stay current with developments in the field and incorporate new knowledge into your teaching
- Master's degree with 18 advanced/graduate hours in the area of Biological Sciences relevant to the course assignment(s)
- Demonstrated college teaching experience
- Preferred qualifications include a Ph.D. in the Biological Sciences and three years of demonstrated college teaching experience
