The Crisis Recovery Advocate plays a vital role at Hope Network Behavioral Health, providing critical support to individuals in crisis residential programs. This position requires a unique blend of intervention techniques, emotional support, and advocacy to ensure the optimal health and safety of those served.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide crisis intervention techniques and support to individuals in crisis residential programs
  • Assist with intake and discharge processes, including working with referral sources and preparing necessary paperwork
  • Document routine and unexpected incidents related to the care of individuals served
  • Develop and implement Person-Centered Approach/Individualized Service Plans for each individual served
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and support
  • Provide emotional support and advocacy to individuals served, promoting self-determination and independence
  • Participate in staff meetings, trainings, and new staff orientation to ensure ongoing education and professional development

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver's license (may be required for some shifts)
  • CPR/First Aid certification
  • Ability to work scheduled shifts, including weekends
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs and safely transfer individuals served
  • Ability to demonstrate empathy, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills

Work Environment:

The Crisis Recovery Advocate will work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care and support to individuals served. This position requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team-based setting.
