Job Summary:

The Restaurant Supervisor will play a key role in the overall operation of the food and beverage team at Omni Amelia Island Resort. This individual will partner with F&B management to create schedules, execute orders, and ensure a quality experience for hotel guests.

Responsibilities:

  • Quality Control: Ensure the quality and consistency of all food served, maintaining high standards of presentation and taste.
  • Scheduling and Operations: Create and adjust work schedules according to workloads and occupancy, ensuring adequate staffing levels to meet guest demands.
  • Inventory Management: Order and receive ingredients and culinary supplies, conducting a monthly inventory of all products to maintain optimal stock levels.
  • Cleanliness and Maintenance: Maintain the cleanliness of all food preparation and production areas, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for guests and staff.
  • Service Standards: Ensure all food supplies necessary for service are in adequate supply on a timely basis, maintaining high standards of service quality.
  • Cost Control: Assist in controlling food costs, ensuring efficient use of resources and minimizing waste.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and motivate the food and beverage team, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent service delivery.

Requirements:

  • Communication Skills: Ability to satisfactorily communicate (verbal and written) in English with vendors, co-workers, and management.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to work outdoors for extended periods of time (at least 8 hours/shift) and stand for extended periods (at least 8 hours/shift).
  • Flexibility: Ability to work a flexible schedule, including AM/PM shifts, weekends, and holidays.
  • Self-Motivation: Self-motivated and able to work with limited supervision.
