Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Traffic Control/Flagger to join our team in Asheville, NC. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe movement of traffic and pedestrians around active work sites.

Key Responsibilities
  • Control traffic flow using hand signals and paddles
  • Prepare and maintain flags, cones, signs, and markers
  • Perform general construction work under the direction of a Foreman or Supervisor
  • Drive safely and follow company safe driving policies
  • Comply with local, state, and federal DOT guidelines
  • Clean and maintain company vehicles and equipment
  • Work in all weather conditions
Requirements
  • Be at least 18 years old
  • Have authorization to work in the United States
  • Hold a High School Diploma, GED equivalent, or relevant work experience
  • Have a valid State driver's license with an acceptable driving record
  • Previous flagging experience is preferred
Physical Demands
  • Work alone in remote locations
  • Operate a vehicle
  • Squeeze, bend, stoop, stand, walk, climb stairs, lift between 10-25 pounds, fine hand motion, use keyboard and mouse
  • Occasionally work with arms above shoulder level, climb stairs, and lift between 26-55 pounds
