We are seeking a skilled Traffic Control/Flagger to join our team in Asheville, NC. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe movement of traffic and pedestrians around active work sites.
Key Responsibilities- Control traffic flow using hand signals and paddles
- Prepare and maintain flags, cones, signs, and markers
- Perform general construction work under the direction of a Foreman or Supervisor
- Drive safely and follow company safe driving policies
- Comply with local, state, and federal DOT guidelines
- Clean and maintain company vehicles and equipment
- Work in all weather conditions
- Be at least 18 years old
- Have authorization to work in the United States
- Hold a High School Diploma, GED equivalent, or relevant work experience
- Have a valid State driver's license with an acceptable driving record
- Previous flagging experience is preferred
- Work alone in remote locations
- Operate a vehicle
- Squeeze, bend, stoop, stand, walk, climb stairs, lift between 10-25 pounds, fine hand motion, use keyboard and mouse
- Occasionally work with arms above shoulder level, climb stairs, and lift between 26-55 pounds
