About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Electromechanical Technician to join our team at Nestle Purina PetCare Company. As an Electromechanical Technician, you will play a critical role in maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing production equipment with a focus on electrical and automation systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and repair production equipment, including electrical and automation systems
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues with production equipment
  • Collaborate with production and maintenance personnel to implement solutions and improve equipment efficiency
  • Remain proficient with industrial electrical control systems, electromechanical systems, and fluid power
  • Utilize knowledge of PLC programming to troubleshoot production equipment without modifying programming
  • Operate forklift to move equipment or parts as needed
  • Perform other miscellaneous duties as directed
Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent with 3+ years of industrial electrical/mechanical experience
  • Associate degree with 1+ year of relevant industrial electrical experience
  • Knowledge of PLC troubleshooting, VFDs, ladder logic, motors, and electrical maintenance
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively to maintain equipment and solve technical problems
