We are seeking a skilled Charge Nurse to join our team at UCHealth. As a Charge Nurse, you will be responsible for providing top-notch patient care and leading a team of nurses in the Progressive Care Unit.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care utilizing the nursing process
- Lead a team of nurses in the Progressive Care Unit
- Prioritize patient wellness and safety
- Develop and implement evidence-based care models
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to achieve exceptional patient outcomes
- Graduate of an accredited or state board of nursing approved Registered/Professional Nursing program
- State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- 6 months of ICU or PCU nursing experience or completion of the UCHealth Fellowship program
- ACLS certification
- BLS certification through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross
