Job Title: Charge Nurse Medical/Surgical Progressive Care Unit Nights

We are seeking a highly skilled Charge Nurse to join our team at UCHealth Anschutz Inpatient Pavilion. As a Charge Nurse, you will be responsible for providing top-notch patient care and leading a team of nurses in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Job Summary:

The Charge Nurse will be responsible for:

  • Providing direct patient care utilizing the nursing process
  • Leading a team of nurses in a multidisciplinary approach to achieve exceptional outcomes
  • Prioritizing wellness, patient perspective, and evidence-based practice
  • Modeling proficiency through precepting new nurses
  • Welcoming new knowledge in a fast-paced, innovative clinical environment
  • Contributing to secure safety and quality at the point of care
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Graduate of an accredited or state board of nursing approved Registered/Professional Nursing program
  • State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
  • 6 months of ICU or PCU nursing experience or completion of the UCHealth Fellowship program
  • BLS - BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date
