Responsibilities- Conduct geriatric assessments, medical histories, physical exams, and develop nursing plans of care
- Diagnose and treat patients, provide health education, and make referrals as needed
- Participate in clinical rounds and conferences, and document patient progress
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care
- Consult with managers, physicians, and medical directors to ensure compliance with guidelines
- ARNP or similar advanced degree in Nursing
- Current Nurse Practitioner Certification in the State of practice
- Board certification by AANP or ANCC (preferred)
- Current DEA number from the DEA for schedule II-V controlled substances (may be required)
- Minimum 1 year of clinical experience (strong new graduates considered)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AMA) or American Red Cross
