Job Description:

Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a Medical Records Technician to join our Health Information Management team.

In this full-time role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the accuracy and confidentiality of medical records while having opportunities for career development and growth.


Key Responsibilities:
Perform clerical duties and apply technical skills in medical record procedures.

Abstract, copy, and mail pertinent portions of medical records, maintaining patient confidentiality.

Assemble, analyze, and maintain complete medical records; create or reactivate retired/stored records.

File medical records accurately and promptly.

Assist with reviewing requests for the release of medical information, ensuring proper authorization.

What We're Looking For:
Certification by the American Health Information Management Association (AHIMA) as a Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT) (preferred).

1 year of experience in a related field (preferred).

Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills with the ability to multitask.

Excellent oral and written communication skills.
