Start Your Pet Grooming Career

As a Groomer Trainee at PetSmart, you'll have the opportunity to build personal relationships with your clients and their pets. You'll learn about different dog breeds, styling, and gain hands-on experience in our grooming salon.

Our Training Program

We offer a comprehensive training program that will set you up for success. You'll start as a bather, learning about safety and dog handling, and then progress to grooming and styling. You'll work under the guidance of experienced groomers and receive feedback and support throughout your training.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist experienced groomers with dog bathing, trimming, and styling
  • Learn about different dog breeds and their specific grooming needs
  • Develop your skills and confidence as a groomer
