Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Material Specialist to join our team at Global Crossing Airlines. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the warehouse and ensuring adequate supply of materials to support our aircraft maintenance operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform data entry into our inventory management system to track and manage stock levels, including receiving, issuing, and shipping of materials.
  • Load and unload aircraft tires, brakes, and related parts and materials, ensuring accurate and efficient processing.
  • Conduct regular inventory audits and inspections to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies.
  • Monitor and update stock levels, minimum and maximum stock levels, and coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless operations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support the team and achieve business objectives.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate's Degree in a related field preferred.
  • One year of experience in data entry, inventory management, or a related field.
  • Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays, and be available for on-call duties.
  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds frequently and up to 100 pounds occasionally.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Associate's Degree in aviation, finance, business, or a related field.
  • One year of experience in a warehouse or inventory management environment.
Work Environment

The Material Specialist will work in a fast-paced warehouse environment, with regular exposure to aircraft and ground support equipment. The successful candidate must be able to work in a team environment, with a focus on safety and quality.
