Join Our Team as a Telecommunications Aerial Technician

Kanaan Communications is actively looking for dedicated individuals to join our Aerial Crew.


As a member of our Aerial Crew, you will have the chance to gain valuable experience and training alongside skilled Foremen and Linemen, focusing on the installation, maintenance, and repair of telecommunications equipment.

Competitive Compensation:
Starting pay at $20+ per hour.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Utilize hand tools, ladders, and equipment to support the completion of assigned projects.
  • Maintain and organize tools, supplies, and work areas to comply with safety standards.
  • Document daily production reports detailing work completed.
  • Perform additional duties as required.

Qualifications:
  • Successful completion of a pre-employment drug screening, background check, and motor vehicle record check.
  • High School diploma or equivalent.

Physical Demands & Work Environment:
  • Ability to climb in and out of various equipment (trucks, cars, backhoes, trenchers, etc.).
  • Regularly lift and carry up to 80 lbs, with or without assistance.
  • Engage in physical activities including sitting, bending, reaching, standing, walking, climbing, and lifting throughout the shift.
  • Work in safety gear such as boots, glasses, and hard hats.
  • Be prepared for remote work, which may involve extended driving and sitting.
  • Meet specific vision requirements for the role, including close and distance vision.
  • Work outdoors in varying weather conditions, including extreme temperatures and inclement weather.
