Diagnostic Imaging Technologist

**Job Summary**

We are seeking a skilled Diagnostic Imaging Technologist to join our team at Northwell Health. As a key member of our radiology department, you will be responsible for operating x-ray and auxiliary equipment, processing images, and maintaining required documentation.

**Responsibilities**

* Operate x-ray and auxiliary equipment to produce high-quality images
* Maintain and clean equipment to ensure optimal performance
* Process images and ensure they meet quality standards
* Provide protection to patients from radiation exposure
* Assist physicians in performing specialized examinations
* Select and load proper cassettes
* Operate X-ray equipment according to specific diagnostic procedures
* Review processed images to ensure they are of acceptable quality

**Requirements**

* Graduate of an approved Radiologic Technology program
* New York State Department of Health licensure as a Radiologic Technologist
* American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) registration
* Prior radiology technology experience preferred

**Additional Information**
