About the RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Medical Assistant to join our team at Central Ohio Urology Group. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our physicians in delivering high-quality medical services.Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain a clean and organized environment in exam rooms, ensuring a comfortable and safe space for patients.
  • Ensure a smooth patient flow, managing schedules and coordinating with physicians and staff as needed.
  • Prepare patients for examinations, taking and documenting vital signs, medical histories, and other relevant information.
  • Assist physicians with procedures, collect specimens, and perform quality control measures.
  • Maintain inventory, clean and sterilize equipment, and prepare supplies as required.
  • Travel locally to our offices around the 270 loop, with mileage reimbursement available for eligible trips.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Medical Assistant in a high-volume, fast-paced medical practice setting.
  • Exhibit a high degree of maturity, integrity, loyalty, creativity, and strict confidentiality with HIPAA compliance in all daily tasks.
  • Current Medical Assistant Certification from an accredited program.
  • Clinical administration skills and experience with Electronic Medical Records.
