We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at Oakwood Heights Village. As a LPN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the well-being of our residents.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide nursing care to patients as assigned, ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met.
  • Administer and record medications and treatments as assigned, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records.
  • Assist physicians and other healthcare professionals with diagnostic procedures and treatments, providing support and guidance as needed.
  • Reinforce health care instructions to patients and their families, promoting education and empowerment.
  • Participate in planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care and other patient activities, collaborating with the healthcare team to achieve optimal outcomes.
  • Assist with admission, transfer, and discharge of patients, ensuring a smooth and efficient process.
  • Observe and report patients' vital signs, symptoms, and general condition to the appropriate individual(s), maintaining open communication.
  • Record observations of patients' responses to nursing care rendered, providing valuable insights for future care.
  • Maintain a safe and comfortable environment for patients, adhering to infection control and safety protocols.
  • Assist with unit management and/or assume charge of the unit as assigned, demonstrating leadership and initiative.
