Seasonal Opportunities Across Departments

We are currently seeking dedicated individuals for temporary seasonal positions at Hannaford. As a key member of our organization, you will support the Hannaford To Go Supervisor in managing the Hannaford To Go Team, ensuring that departmental operations align with financial and sales objectives. Your responsibilities will include fostering strong relationships with both associates and customers, promoting a positive culture that reflects the Hannaford Strategy.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the operations of the Hannaford To Go Department in the absence of the Supervisor, adhering to established protocols.
  • Exhibit and maintain exceptional standards of customer service and sales to boost customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Ensure that the department's conditions are maintained at the highest standards regarding appearance, safety, sanitation, and food safety.
  • Effectively delegate tasks to ensure optimal department performance.
  • Provide immediate assistance regarding Shopping or Expediting process issues and communicate any associate performance concerns to the Assistant Store Manager.
  • Engage in the training and development of associates while maintaining open lines of communication within the department and with store management.
  • Comply with company policies, standard practices, and legal requirements while performing assigned duties or projects.
Qualifications:
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
  • Previous experience in retail customer service is advantageous.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills are essential.
  • A basic understanding of store operations is beneficial.
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills are required.
  • A willingness to learn various tasks and job-specific technical requirements is necessary.
  • Must meet minimum age requirements.
Physical Requirements:
  • Engage in repetitive hand and arm movements.
  • Remain on your feet or walking for the entirety of the shift.
  • Perform fine finger movements and lift various weights as required by the job.
  • Occasionally push or pull objects of varying weights.
  • Work with a variety of substances, handle shopping carts, and operate necessary equipment.
  • Demonstrate adequate visual acuity for job-related tasks.
  • Be prepared to perform duties in various weather conditions.
  • Utilize computers, calculators, and communication systems effectively.
