Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Inventory Coordinator to join our team at Intellyk Inc. As an Inventory Coordinator, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining inventory levels, ensuring accurate and efficient supply chain operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Fulfill requests for MRO/Indirect Materials in customer supply rooms
  • Provide exceptional customer service as a walk-up contact for filling material requests
  • Sources material requests for MRO/Indirect materials
  • Acts as a liaison between customer maintenance and engineering departments and key vendor contacts
  • Conducts searches to locate materials within internal business systems, using customer part numbers, manufacturer part numbers, commodity types, etc.
  • Conducts cycle counts on all MRO/Indirect Material locations
  • Investigates discrepancies between physical inventory and system inventory levels, noting and reporting issues that cause system variance
  • Performs inventory adjustments, inter-facility transfers, and inventory counts
  • Receives, counts, and verifies incoming shipments
  • Maintains a safe, clean, and organized work area throughout the facility and common areas
  • Promotes the continuous improvement effort, including inventory areas and all operational areas
  • Adheres to all company SOPs, GMPs, procedures, and OSHA regulations
  • Performs all other duties as assigned by management

Requirements:

  • The ideal candidate should possess some or most of the following characteristics:
  • Meticulous attention to detail with the ability to discern small differences between material numbers, manufacturer part numbers, sizes, dimensions, measurements, etc.
  • Strong customer service background
  • Impeccable and professional communication skills, with an emphasis on both electronic and face-to-face interactions
  • Ability to multi-task and time management skills required
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Excel, Word, warehouse inventory software, and searching capabilities to find products on the internet
  • Experience in Inventory Control operations
  • General demonstrated mechanical aptitude with an understanding of MRO material and general machine parts
