Job Summary

We are seeking an exceptional Turbine Mechanic to join our craft field team. As a Turbine Mechanic, you will be responsible for safely installing, maintaining, and repairing heavy rotating machinery used in power generation applications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Dismantle, assemble, move, and align machinery and equipment using hoists, cranes, chain falls, hand tools, power tools, pneumatic and hydraulic tools, micrometers, rules, squares, plumb bobs, dial indicators, and laser alignment equipment.
  • Read blueprints, schematic drawings, and technical documentation to determine proper work procedures.
  • Perform material and machine inspections using precision measuring equipment such as micrometers, rules, calipers, protractors, and torque wrenches.
  • Load, transport, and unload materials, tools, equipment, and supplies, and perform mechanical and electrical maintenance and repairs as needed.
  • Install machinery and equipment according to layout plans, blueprints, and other drawings in industrial establishments.
Requirements
  • Minimum of one (1) year's experience maintaining, dismantling, and installing machinery and industrial service equipment, including various pumps, motors, fans, generators, and turbines.
  • Valid Driver's License.
  • Preferred: Degree/Associate Degree in Technical Field or Gas Turbine Systems.

The hourly wage range for this position is $25.00. Employees may be eligible for overtime.
