Wind Technician

Deriva Energy, a leading provider of sustainable energy solutions, is seeking a skilled Wind Technician to join our team at the Ledyard Wind Farm in Lakota, Iowa.

We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to maintain and repair our wind turbines, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency. As a Wind Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing and resolving mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues, as well as performing routine maintenance tasks.

• Maintain a high level of safety awareness and adhere to all safety protocols
• Climb heights up to 400 ft. daily to perform maintenance and repairs
• Diagnose and resolve faults on turbines, including mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic problems
• Perform energy isolation and pad-mounted transformer switching in accordance with hazardous energy controls procedures
• Perform small and large corrective tasks on wind turbines, including preventative maintenance and performance monitoring
• Maintain all aspects of turbines in a safe, high-quality, and efficient manner
• Complete necessary paperwork and documentation within Maximo

• High School/GED
• Ability to complete Level I job performance measures and training in Deriva Energy within 1 year
• Valid Driver's License
• Ability to lift 75lbs individually
• Ability to work in all-weather outdoor conditions
