Aerotek is seeking a skilled Aircraft Structures Engineer to join their team in Milan, Illinois. This is a contract position with the potential to go direct hire, offering a competitive pay rate of $40-50 per hour, plus per diem.

About the Job

This hands-on role involves inspecting, servicing, repairing, and troubleshooting aircraft airframe and structures systems, composites, and components. As an Aircraft Structures Engineer, you will be responsible for supporting structural repair and modification projects, interpreting and reading aircraft blueprints and modification drawings, and ensuring safety and security during all structural repair and modification phases.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support structural repair and modification projects
  • Interpret and read aircraft blueprints and modification drawings
  • Accept ownership of assigned structural projects
  • Follow all policies and procedures
  • Ensure safety and security of customer equipment, parts, and aircraft during all structural repair and modification phases

To be successful in this role, you will need 5 years of structures experience on Corporate Aircrafts, including experience with lockers on King Airs. You must also have your own tools and be able to work independently. Additionally, you will be expected to record and maintain accurate and timely aircraft and project documentation.
