Key Responsibilities
  • Perform laboratory tests on blood and other bodily fluids to provide accurate results for patient diagnosis and treatment.
  • Properly handle and process specimens for analysis, ensuring timely and accurate results.
  • Organize and prioritize work to ensure efficient testing and meet deadlines.
  • Collaborate with laboratory staff to ensure smooth laboratory operations and maintain high-quality results.
  • Act as a Charge Technologist when required, overseeing laboratory operations and making decisions to ensure efficient and effective testing.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology or related field.
  • Valid New York State Clinical Laboratory Technologist Limited Permit or full license.
  • At least one year of clinical laboratory experience, preferably in a hospital setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
