As an Electrical Power Generation Specialist at Warren CAT, you will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our customers' Cat generator systems.
Key Responsibilities:- Repair and Maintenance: Provide high-quality repair service on equipment to meet customer needs in a timely manner
- Safety First: Work safely and follow all WCAT safety policies and procedures
- Documentation and Record Keeping: Complete related paperwork and access databases required to complete job accurately and timely
- Technical Expertise: Have working knowledge of Cat generator systems, ATS, switch gear, and UPS
In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing and troubleshooting problems on gas and diesel engines, providing recommendations for repairs, and making critical engine repairs and adjustments. You will also perform load bank testing, startup multiple unit power generation, and understand and apply Cat reusability guidelines.
Requirements:- Education and Experience: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and/or five to eight years related experience and/or training
- Preferred Qualifications: AA in Applied Diesel Technology
- Skills and Abilities: Strong proactive, intuitive, and interpretive skills; excellent customer service skills; strong communication skills in written, verbal, and diagram format; leadership and mentoring mentality
