Position Overview:
Join a dynamic Radiology Department consisting of over 50 specialized radiologists, including a dedicated team of 14 Body imagers. This role involves collaboration with a robust clinical service team.

Team Composition:
Currently, there are 10 full-time equivalent radiologists within the Body Imaging Section, supported by a fully accredited residency program featuring 28 residents and a body fellow among a total of 4 fellows in the department.

Daily Case Volume:
Case volume varies based on rotation, typically including:
- CT: 25 cases
- Cardiac CT: 4-5 cases
- Cardiac MR: 2-3 cases
- MRI: 15-18 cases
- Ultrasound: 50-60 cases

Trauma Designation:
This facility holds a Trauma Level 1 designation, providing services to community hospitals (Trauma Level 2) and outpatient sites.

Patient Demographics:
We cater to a diverse patient age range, with pediatric cases not being a requirement.

The selected candidate will take charge of Cardiothoracic Imaging services, overseeing workflow, establishing protocols, leading multidisciplinary conferences, and contributing to educational initiatives. Coverage in abdominal imaging will also be included in this role.

As we expand our cardiothoracic faculty, the candidate will have the opportunity to lead a newly formed section dedicated to cardiothoracic imaging. This is an exceptional chance to shape and enhance a rapidly growing service, which includes a proactive lung cancer screening program, CTA, cardiac imaging, and a dedicated focus on interstitial lung disease.

While this is primarily an onsite position, there are provisions for home workstations during call duties and flexibility in rotation coverage.
