Job Summary

At Vidant Health, we are seeking a skilled Medical Assistant to join our team. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing clinical support services, assisting with secretarial/clerical duties, and maintaining patient care documentation in medical records.

Responsibilities

  • Perform clinical support services, including preparing patients for exams and procedures.
  • Assist with secretarial/clerical duties, such as answering phones and responding to patient inquiries.
  • Maintain patient care documentation in medical records, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Provide exceptional patient care and support, promoting a positive and respectful environment.

Requirements

  • High School graduate or equivalent required.
  • One to two years of formal medical assistant or nurse aide training preferred.
  • American Heart Association BLS Certification required.

What We Offer

  • Full-time position with benefits.
  • Day shift, Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm.
