About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Production Trainee to join our team at Anoplate. As a Production Trainee, you will play a critical role in supporting our Platers in maximizing tank output with minimal waste in a safe and environmentally conscious environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Consistently work in a safe manner, utilizing personal protective equipment and trained procedures to ensure personal safety and the safety of co-workers.
  • Successfully complete training modules and demonstrate proficiency in assigned duties.
  • Keep accurate account of own time within the system provided.
  • Retrieve and follow shop travelers.
  • Follow prescribed methods and order for completing tasks to ensure all specs are met.
  • Utilize equipment to inspect and identify quality defects.
  • Clean, plug, blast, mask, paint, process, and pack parts per traveler instructions.
  • Accurately interpret diagram information or blueprints and carry out instructions as written.
  • Initiate Production Improvement Form (PIF) upon discovering a discrepancy on a traveler.
  • May perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Requirements
  • Basic math and computer skills.
  • Ability to comprehend both verbal and written instructions.
  • Ability to give simple verbal and written instructions to others.
  • Ability to interact effectively with co-workers.
  • Ability to prepare simple written reports.
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
  • Previous experience in chemical handling/storage, manufacturing production, or general machinery operation preferred.
  • Pre-employment drug testing and background screening required.
