Fawema Nursing Contract seeks a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Consultant to provide expert nursing services to our clients. In this critical role, you will work directly with our registered nurses to deliver high-quality care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities.
- Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive health and nursing assessments for new individuals admitted to our care facilities.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans, including quarterly and annual reviews, to ensure optimal health and well-being.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized plans of care.
- Participate in regular monitoring and review of medical and dental records to ensure compliance with regulations and best practices.
- Provide expert guidance and support to direct care staff on medical and medication-related issues.
- Consult with physicians and staff on health-related matters as requested.
Qualifications:
Current licensure as an LPN in the State of Maryland.Excellent clinical skills and knowledge of nursing best practices.Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.Familiarity with relevant laws, regulations, and guidelines, including the Maryland Nurse Practice Act and DDA Medical Advisory #99-3.-
