Key Responsibilities:- Safely navigate a delivery vehicle to transport items to specified destinations along assigned routes.
- Efficiently load and unload merchandise, ensuring proper handling and securement of all packages.
- Confirm and reconcile delivery orders with clients to guarantee accuracy.
- Deliver outstanding customer service by professionally addressing inquiries, concerns, and complaints.
- Maintain the cleanliness and upkeep of the delivery vehicle, reporting any issues or damages promptly.
- Comply with all traffic laws and regulations to uphold safe driving practices.
- Adhere to delivery schedules and routes to ensure timely distribution of products.
- Collaborate with warehouse and logistics teams to coordinate deliveries and resolve any challenges that may arise.
- Accurately complete necessary paperwork and documentation in a timely manner.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Possession of a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Previous experience as a delivery driver or in a related role is advantageous but not mandatory; newcomers are welcome to apply.
- Strong understanding of traffic laws and regulations.
- Exceptional customer service skills with effective and professional communication abilities.
- Capability to navigate using GPS or other route optimization tools.
- Physically fit and able to lift heavy packages as necessary; ability to lift up to 50 lbs and maneuver up to 150 lbs using equipment is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational capabilities.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently with minimal supervision.
- Availability for flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as required.
- Weekly compensation.
- Paid training at the same rate.
- Paid time off.
5 days a week (may include Saturdays, with Sundays off).
