Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Registered Nurse to join our team at Houston Methodist Specialty Physician Group. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and leading our nursing staff in delivering high-quality patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care to a diverse patient population, including patients with complex needs.
  • Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Collaborate with the interprofessional healthcare team to coordinate patient care and improve patient safety.
  • Lead and mentor nursing staff to improve clinical practice and patient outcomes.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
Requirements
  • Three years of nursing experience, with one year in specialty preferred.
  • Current RN licensure in the state of Texas.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information.
