Job Summary:

As a Front Desk Agent at Marriott Spring, you will be responsible for providing exceptional guest service, registering guests, and ensuring a seamless stay experience. Your primary responsibilities will include greeting and registering guests, making and modifying reservations, and handling hotel operator and concierge duties.

Responsibilities:
  • Guest Service: Provide attentive, courteous, and efficient service to all guests, ensuring a positive experience throughout their stay.
  • Front Desk Operations: Maintain proper operation of the telephone switchboard, handle requests for information, mail, and messages, and answer guest inquiries about hotel services, facilities, and hours of operation.
  • Room Reservations: Obtain all necessary information when taking room reservations, follow rate quoting scenarios, and be familiar with all in-house groups, closed-out, and restricted dates.
  • Communication: Establish and maintain good communication and teamwork with fellow associates and other departments within the hotel.
  • Problem-Solving: Demonstrate the ability to multi-task, be detail-oriented, and problem-solve in order to effectively deal with internal and external customers.
  • Technology: Fully comprehend and operate all relevant aspects of the Front Desk computer system, including logging and delivering packages, mail, and messages as needed.
Requirements:
  • Education: High School diploma or equivalent required; college coursework in a related field helpful.
  • Experience: Experience in a hotel or related field preferred.
  • Skills: Possess a positive and upbeat personality, with a desire to deliver outstanding customer service; demonstrate the ability to work well in stressful, high-pressure situations.
  • Knowledge: Familiarity with hotel products and guest services, as well as basic arithmetic functions and Microsoft Office suite.
