About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Compensation Associate to join our team at EDP Renewables. As a key member of our global compensation team, you will play a critical role in developing and implementing compensation strategies that align with our business objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Compensation Framework Implementation: Contribute to the development and implementation of our global compensation framework, ensuring local adherence while promoting a transversal strategy.
  • Annual Reports and Audits: Prepare information for our annual reports, considering legal requirements and external reports, and participate in internal audit processes.
  • Global Projects and Employer Branding: Participate in global projects relevant to EDP Renewables, promoting our employer brand and contributing to our One Company goal.
  • Annual Bonus and Merit Programs: Contribute to the development and implementation of our annual bonus and merit programs, ensuring internal policies and equity.
  • Job Family Matrix and Leveling Exercise: Maintain our Job Family Matrix and execute leveling exercises for management, professionals, technicians, and administrative/support segments in North America.
  • Market Data and Benchmarking: Manage local market data and ensure benchmarks are in place for regular activities and specific purposes.
  • Process Digitalization and Optimization: Contribute to the digitalization of our area processes, seeking optimization opportunities and focusing on continuous improvement.
  • Compensation Data Management: Work with our Payroll team to ensure all compensation data is complete and accurate in both systems.
  • HR Business Partner Collaboration: Advise and collaborate with our HR Business Partners on all compensation-related issues for their respective client groups.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Human Resources Management, or a related field.
  • Experience: 5-7 years of HR experience in compensation, with significant knowledge and skills in HRIM systems.
  • Certifications: Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) preferred.
  • Technical Skills: Competency in analytical problem-solving, strong communication, customer/partner relationships, and technology expertise.
  • Software Proficiency: Experience with SAP and UltiPro a plus.

  • Communication Skills: Highly proficient in the use of Excel, Payfactors, SAP SuccessFactors/Payroll applications, and other tools used in decision support analysis.
  • Time Management: Good time-management skills and ability to be self-motivated.

  • Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills.
  • Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Adaptability: Ability to work in a dynamic environment with multiple projects underway concurrently.
