About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Geotechnical Assistant Staff Project Manager to join our team at ECS Limited. As a key member of our geotechnical team, you will be responsible for assisting staff with field tasks supporting geotechnical projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Field Support: Primarily involved with assisting staff with field tasks supporting geotechnical projects, including clearly documenting site observations for both construction materials testing (CMT) and geotechnical field work performed.
  • Research and Analysis: Assist with research on local geologic history and perform in-situ testing, soil classification, and other related tasks.
  • Project Coordination: Assist with supervision of field work performed by drilling/test pit crews and assist with rig access issues.
  • Communication: Keep project staff informed of changing site conditions and/or additional testing requested on project sites.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor and/or Master of Science in Civil Engineering, Geological Engineering, Geology, or similar is required.
  • Experience: No experience required, but a valid driver's license is necessary if driving for ECS Limited.
  • Professional Development: Professional license is not required in this position but is necessary to progress in career.
